Connecting campus to help students persist.

Diagram of how MySuccess Works.

MySuccess provides two convenient ways for students, instructors, advisors and student support staff to communicate: MySuccess Early Warning and MySuccess Connect Appointment Scheduler.

Increased communication between instructors and support staff is a proven strategy for increasing student success and persistence. With MySuccess, instructors and advising staff can follow students through their KU careers, schedule appointments, access basic student information and communicate with those on campus who are also involved with student success.

Students may access MySuccess from a link on the myKU portal or Blackboard and find all their course work, enrollment information, test scores, advisor assignments and notes in a central location.

MySuccess Early Warning

This tool allows instructors to select and communicate with students based on class performance. In situations where an instructor has a concern about a student's performance, the instructor can raise a "flag," which will alert both the student and his or her advisor.

MySuccess Connect Appointment Scheduler

This tool allows students to schedule appointments online with instructors, advisors and support staff who have linked their calendars. To make an appointment, students click on "Success Network" within MySuccess in Blackboard. They can then click "See available appointments" to submit an appointment.
